story(ies)

Tanga Community supported 130 female sex workers who had expired family planning implants and those who needed different methods of contraception but could not afford them including pills, injections, long term methods and tubal ligation. This support was life changing for may who were stuck in a situation of health risk.

Additionally, more than 15 female sex workers have been supported to receive safe abortion services, which was lifesaving, given that some had been reported to have died from using unsafe abortion methods, despite existing progressive laws.
